SERVICES AND FEES
The following is a list of the tasks that we provide and what each task includes:
-
CREDENTIALING & CONTRACTING
Whether you are just beginning your practice or wishing to expand your existing practice, our credentialing and contracting service will alleviate your workload and stress of dealing with the overwhelming amount of paperwork and follow-up involved in this process. We will efficiently gather, organize, complete and follow-up on all of required paperwork for your enrollment with the insurance plans that you specify and choose. We will provide a weekly summary of the status of your credentialing applications and promptly respond to any inquiries or concerns by you and from the insurance companies.
Included with this credentialing service, is the maintenance of your CAQH account. Your CAQH profile information and documentation will also be verified. Any outdated information or documentation found in your CAQH account will be promptly corrected and uploaded for you. CAQH ProView attestations will also be performed as needed.
Fees:
Our credentialing fees are based per provider, per insurance enrollment and is a one-time, upfront fee as follows:
$200 for commercial and private payer insurance plans.
$250 for Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid and Medicaid CMOs.
-
STAFF TRAINING
You have enough on your plate with running a successful business and servicing your patients or clients. To increase your practice's revenue, you want to hire new members to your team, but you do not have the time to train them. It's very important to lay the correct groundwork from the beginning with your new hire(s) so that everyone knows exactly what is expected of them and there is accountability.
We can help take that burden off of you and train your new team member. We've helped to train administrative assistants and office managers; however our focus is mainly to train the billing staff. In the past 27 years of working in this field, I am still surprised at billing specialists claiming to know how to bill but do not understand the simple basics of how to correctly submit and follow up on insurance claims.
We will make sure your billing staff understand how to accurately read the insurance card, verify insurance benefits, obtain authorizations, check charges for errors before submitting to the insurance companies, submit the claims and completely follow up on the claims. We will also discuss appeals for denied claims and collection letters for patient and client overdue balances.
Fee:
Training via phone, email, video conferencing and/or text; $250/hour
-
CONSULTATION
Our consultation packages help providers who are either interested in starting their own practice or want to expand their current practice and need some guidance as to which direction to take and what tasks needs to be accomplished.
This is a list of the most common tasks we assist with:
1. The importance of obtaining an NPI #1-individual and an NPI #2-group and which one insurance plans will
require.
2. Applying for an EIN/TIN instead of using your SSN.
3. Choosing a HIPAA compliant and user-friendly practice management system for scheduling, EMR and billing.
4. Establishing your fees and office policies.
5. Properly selecting new and training new hires.
6. Denial management.
7. EDI/EFT/ERA enrollment.
8. Adding another physician or therapist to your established practice group or clinic.
9. Outsourcing your billing and/or credentialing vs. keeping those tasks in-house.
10.Misc. billing and/or credentialing questions.
Fees:
$100-30 minute session
$250-1 hour
$350-2 hours
$520-3 hours
$690-4 hours

A/R CLEAN-UP, INCLUDING DENIAL MANAGEMENT
Providers who have already started their practice but are getting overwhelmed with claim denials can still benefit from the accounts receivable/insurance aging clean up and denial management portion of this consultation and coaching program. Insurance claim denials are one of the biggest pet peeves of a medical practice and I can say that with full confidence because over the decades that is usually the very first thing a provider or biller will tell me. Following up on claims denials and old claims submission/status is tedious and time consuming but it's something that ABSOLUTELY needs to get done AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
Fee:
$50/hour-billed weekly. Free 15-minute consultation.
We take a diligent approach in regard to assessing and evaluating the needs of your practice. After we discuss the specific services you are seeking, then we can accurately quote you a fee.
Please contact us if you are interested in a specific service that you do not see listed on out page and we may be able to help you.
